Penashe - I loved the comment you just made on my most recent 1987 article. I always celebrate Cinco de Mayo - now, I'll have to light a candle to your father on that date. Take care. Thanks very much for your comment. Salud.

Penashe, since you were wondering, I live in Southern California - in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, and the mouth of Big Tujunga Canyon. We're just over the Verdugo Hills from Burbank. But I spend a great deal of time in the California backcountry - the Eastern Sierras, Owens Valley, Death Valley, and that's where my heart is...even when I'm stuck here at home.

howdeee - a work in progress - lol - that's what my whole house is - well, I have a couple of houses plus mama's down on the bayous - I am always doing something different to my bathroom. I live in a typical Spanish bungalow - so unless it's clean, it looks cluttered...too many animals, too much junk - I finally brought it over to this little house in Nevada and now this one is cluttered to excess...the husband is creative too - lol...and kinda a neat freak - depends.
I'll keep eyes and ears open for a 48 Ford Pickup - Is that the year you were born?
the husband has a 67 blue Chevy pickup truck - he's original owner.
I always redo my bathroom - it's very tiny and I do love La Senora de Guatalupe - I'll look for the material.
I used to skate at an ice rink near the Mesa but that was way back in 1979...could it be that one your husband worked on? We live a mile from the beach so I walk there all the time! thanks for the ping and ideas. Salud.

Penashe - thanks so much on commenting on my name article. I am totally intrigued by your bathroom and hope you do an article on it as I would love to see pictures of it!! I love the Lady of Guatalupe as well. I love all the Saints. If you don't do an article, my regular email is: Bayoutoes@aol.com - if you wouldn't mind sending me pictures. Thanks!! Salud.
